Upper East Regional Second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Isaac Atasige has called on members of the party to forge reconciliation and unity to ensure electoral victory in 2012.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Bolgatanga, Mr. Atasige said factionalism was not in the best interest of the NPP in the region.
Mr. Atasige said he would use his position to facilitate the involvement of the youth to share their views and contribute to the victory of the party in the next General Election.
"I will ensure that there is inflow of communication between the party executive, elders and the youth especially at the grassroots," he said.
Mr. Atasige expressed optimism about the chances of the party to win the 2012 election, saying Ghanaians can now compare the difference between the ruling National Democratic Congress and the NPP.
