The Akuse District Police has beefed up security to ensure a successful Biometric voter registration in the area.
The move follows disturbances by alleged macho men at some polling stations at the start of the exercise yesterday leading to the arrest of six of them by the police.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, the District Police Commander, DSP Douglas Kuma, said the police will leave no stone unturned to safeguard the security of eligible voters who turn out to register.
