@Dan, I think you goofed. Political parties don't vote for themselves; it's your vote that they need to be able to become relevant. Do you vote for smaller parties? Did I hear you say "common MP they can't win"? Ignorance.
The E C must be serious with the issuance of certificates to political parties. The law is clear and must be fully adhered to. Apart from some two political parties that are vibrant the others only exist on paper. Currently the two main political parties are able to garner about 95% of elections votes in Ghana. That should tell the E C that the others are joking. If the E C were to go strictly according to the political parties laws, apart from the two main ones the others should have been expunged from their books. Common MP they can't win much more presidential. If care is not taking a time is coming when every nuclear family in Ghana will form a political party, husband and wife will be the presidential candidate/ running mate, eldest son will be general secretary the others will take over the remaining positions, after all who doesn't want free things, where you don't do any work but get all you want, free accommodation, free V8, free water/ electricity, free driver, police guard, free fuel, free exgratia and on top of that a free office to sit and sell contracts, others are suppliers and contractors themselves. We don't want a proliferation of azaaaa political parties in Ghana. Those with their head facing the sky are not seeing top not to talk of those with their heads facing the ground.
