The Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Edward Doe Adjaho has charged the Leadership of Parliament to schedule business of the house in a manner that will allow members of Parliament to monitor the exhibition of the voters register by the Electoral Commission in their constituencies when the exercise begins from 18th July to 7th August 2016.
The Speaker gave the instruction following a concern raised by the MP for Old Tafo Hon Dr Anthony Akoto Osei after the Business statement for next week had been presented to the house by Hon Alfred Agbeshie Deputy Majority Chief Whip and MP for Ashiaman.
Hon Akoto Osei wondered how members of the house could monitor the exhibition of the voters register in their constituencies and attend to business of the house at the same time hence the Speaker’s ruling on the issue.
