The NDC MP for Ashaiman Hon Alfred Agbeshie has called on government to put into action, its promise to provide constituency office for all MPs and also complete the job 600 renovation project near Parliament House to provide offices to all MPs.
Hon. Agbeshie made the call in parliament today during debate on the 2010 budget. He said the lack of office accommodation for MPs is creating serious inconvenience to MPs. Hon. Agbeshie also called on government to allocate enough resources to promote herbal medicine in the country in view of the significant contribution traditional medicine practice makes towards health care in the country.
Commenting on the lack of office accommodation for MPs, the Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing Hon Albert Abongo said actual work on job 600 will start before the end of 2009.
