President Mills stated these when the Newly Elected NDC National Executives met him at the Castle in Osu. The president said “now that the National Delegates Congress has ended successfully it is incumbent on the party and government to unite to attain the “Better Ghana Agenda” of the NDC.”
On his part, the National Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Kwabena Adjei said the outcome of NDC elections shows that Tamale or Dagbon is a peaceful place after all the perception that the place is not safe. He said there is the need to foster closer collaboration among the government, founder of the NDC and the party itself to build a stronger NDC. He lauded the old NDC executives who worked hard to wrestle power from the previous government.
