A four-member delegation of the Youth Wing of National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by the National Youth Organiser, Ludwig Akpene Hlodze, left Accra on Tuesday to attend the Youth League Congress of the ruling African National Congress [ANC] of South Africa, in Johannesburg.
A statement issued in Accra on Wednesday said new executive
members would be elected at the congress to steer affairs of the ANC
Youth League for a four-year term.
It said speaking briefly from his office at the party
headquarters, Ludwig Hlodze recounted the good tie that had been
established between the NDC Youth Wing and the ANC of South African
for the past year since his election.
�We [the NDC Youth Wing], have been invited by Comrade Julius
Malema, President of the ANC Youth League, to be part of their
congress from Thursday June 16 to Sunday June 19, 2011 in Gallagher
Estate, Midrand, Johannesburg,� Ludwig said.
Other members of the delegation are Mr Aminu Mohammed Adam,
Northern Regional Youth Organiser, Mr John Kwaku Ato-Abeberese, Tain
constituency Youth Organiser and Miss Amina Mohammed, a TEIN executive
member from the Islamic University College.
The delegation would visit some provincial and branch offices of
the Youth League to acquaint themselves with their operations.
They return home on Monday, June 20.
