A group of macho men are said to have disrupted a meeting which is expected to have been held at the Cape Coast town hall between members of FONKAR and the Former First lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.
The disruption broke into a scuffle.
Former First lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is expected there as part of her thank you tour and also to interact with her supporters.
The FONKAR members are believed to have scattered for fear of their lives.
The FONKAR organizer in Cape Coast said the identities of the macho men cannot be verified but they are believed to have been sent by the Central Regional Minister Ama Benyiwa Doe.
The Cape Coast Police have called for a reinforcement from the near-by districts to complements their efforts at preventing what could turn out to be a blood fight.
