A Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Samuel Awuku, has flayed the ruling National Democratic Congress Party (NDC) accusing the Mills-led administration of failing to create jobs for the masses except in three areas, cyber fraud known in local parlance as Sakawa, armed robbery and prostitution.
According to him, graduate unemployment is at an all-time high, yet, the NDC has deliberately sealed its ears and closed its eyes just to avoid seeing the suffering Ghanaians are going through.
"The NDC government has done nothing to create employment for the youth but has expanded sakawa, armed robbery and prostitution; that is not our destiny as a countryTake a walk along the streetsthey have exposed the Ghanaian youth to an expansion of armed robbery on our highways, sakawa and prostitution, Sammy Awuku said.
Commenting on job creation as contained in last Wednesdays budget presented to Parliament by Dr. Kwabena Duffour, the Finance Minister, Samuel Awuku, who was contributing to discussions on AdomFM, accused the Mills administration of handing unemployed graduates a raw deal by going ahead to secure a loan, knowing very well that conditions attached prevents government from employing people into the public service for a certain period of time.
