The Andani Youth in Ashaiman have postponed their intended demonstration scheduled for November 25 against the two deputy ministers of information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and Babal Jamal.
The leaders of the group explained that the postponement was largely due to their engagement with other Andani youth groups in the Northern region.
The group planned to demonstrate against the two junior ministers over what appeared to be their unsavoury comments that government would not succumb to pressure from the Andani family to arrest the murderers of the late Dagbon Overlord, Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II.
The spokesperson for the Ashaiman Andani Youth, Afa Issah Maligu-Naa, told Citi News he suspected some elders of the Andani family were in bed with government, hence their silence on the youths incessant pressure on government to ensure justice in Dagbon.
He hinted the groups intention to later hold a news conference to expose those suspected elders.
Maligu-Naa also reiterated the groups commitment to pressurise government to find the killers of the late overlord of Dagbon who was assassinated on March 27, 2002.
