The Minority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has opened fresh can of worms on the controversial Gh58 million judgment debt awarded NDC financier Alfred Woyome saying the state paid him an extra Gh34 m besides the Gh58m.

According to Honourable Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, he is in possession of some documents which indicate that Mr. Woyome was paid the additional money which is different from the initial Gh58 million making the rounds.

In an interview on Citi FMs Eyewitness News on Monday, the Minority Leader revealed that the Gh58 million was the amount contained in the 2010 Auditor Generals report adding that the new figure of Gh34 million would be contained in the Auditor Generals report for 2011.

He said are you aware that Woyome has subsequently been paid additional 34 million for 2011, he has been paid additional 34 million in January 2011, April 2011 and September 2011. Deliberately we have not even spoken about that.

In tranches of 10 million, 10 million, 14 million so total payments to Woyome is not even 58 million. He must be careful, Mensah-Bonsu alleged.

so altogether the total payment that has been made to Woyome is not the 58 million, that was what was covered by the Auditor Generals report in 2010 but the total payment to Woyome is 92 million."
