A delegation from La Cote dIvoire, led by Interior Minister Ahmed Bakayoko on Friday delivered a special message to Ghana President John Evans Atta Mills at the Osu Castle in Accra.
Details of the message were not disclosed, but were believed to be on the security between the two neighbouring sister nations and how to enhance their bilateral relations.
Issues of repatriation of Ivorian refugees back home following the post-Ivorian elections crisis, border issues and perceived rebels hiding in Ghana, are some of the issues on the drawing board between the two nations.
Before the discussions went into closed door, President Mills reiterated the need for more co-operation for the mutual benefit of the two sister nations.
Mr Bakakoyo expressed similar sentiments.
