The Deputy Minister for Education, Mahama Ayariga, has asked the Minority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu to desist from spreading false allegations against his former boss Betty Mould-Iddrisu.
The Minority Leader told Citi News he may file an official report with the police on alleged threats on his life by the former minister for education.
According to him, he has gotten wind of credible information that the immediate past education minister has given hints of killing him if he should cross her path.
Mr. Ayariga, however, said his former boss is not capable of issuing such threats.
He said: I have listened to Kyei Mensah-Bonsu on radio and the allegations that he has made about Mrs. Betty Mould-Iddrissu, I have no doubt that everything that he said is not true.
We all know the disposition of Mrs. Betty Mould-Iddrisu; she is not of any violent character and I would urge him to desist from spreading that kind of falsehood. It doesnt speak well of us as leaders, Ayariga added.
