As a group who believe in upholding the rule of law, promoting the interest of Ghanaians, and above all ensuring sound governance based on the true principles of accountability and transparency, we share, and state without ambiguity, our highest support for any crusade that aim to deter the perpetuators of gargantuan corruption against the state.
In this regard, AFAG will like to salute Hon Martin Amidu for exhibiting such bravery, and setting up a phenomenal, trail blazing pace, in the fight against corruption in Ghana. We are awed by such spirited forthrightness.
In the coming week, Ghanaians should expect a statement from AFAG detailing its planned activities that will ensure a sustainable pressure on government to:
Take an un-compromising and un-wavering stands on the woyomegate & other scandals
Also;
Raise awareness, and educate the general public on the severity of the Woyome and other financial scandals yet to be brought to the fore by AFAG
Seek public opinion on how government is handling these massive scandals
Assess public expectations on these gargantuan crimes
Additionally, we call on the President to re-assure Ghanaians of a 24 hour security protection for Martin Amidu, failure to do so; we shall hold the President accountable for any attack on the life of Hon. Martin Amidu.
Ghanaians should therefore expect very soon, a series of public fora to be held in all the ten regions of Ghana by AFAG, dubbed GARGANTUAN Forum.
We assure you in the coming week of an AFAG press statement outlining the date, region and venue for our first Gargantuan Forum.
God bless Ghana, God bless us all.
