The deputy Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Alex Segbefia has warned the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to withdraw the all die be die mantra and apologize to Ghanaians.
According to Mr. Segbefia, Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP must take responsibility for every act of violence and bloodshed that occurs before, during and after the December elections if he fails to withdraw his all die be die slogan.
Addressing the NDC TEIN at the Accra Polytechnic, Friday, Mr Segbefia said Nana Addos comment coupled with some comments by members of the NPP are appalling and must be condemned.
Let everybody know that there must be an explanation for the all die be die mantra, Mr. Segbefia said adding Ghanaians must know that the all die be die mantra cannot buy them votes and they must withdraw that slogan.
Let me make it clear here and now, that every act of violence, every unruly behavior, every issue that comes to Ghana between today and the time we have the election is because of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo and the all die be die slogan He added.
