Kumasi based popular radio commentator, Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as ‘Appiah Stadium’ has chastised leaders of the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC) for failing to capitalize on the genocidal comments made by NPP kingpin , Kennedy Agyapong.
He says the NDC could exploit the comments made by the Assin North legislator by using it as one of their campaign messages.
Speaking on the 'Gold Power Drive' on Thursday, Appiah Stadium challenged the leadership of the NDC to wake up from their slumber and strongly capitalize on the comments since it could brighten their fortunes in the December elections.
He is of the view that the NDC has been ‘juju’ by the NPP just as has happened to former president Rawlings.
"This is a winning campaign message for the NDC, and am wondering why the NDC fraternity is failing to take advantage of it. If you people are sleeping, please wake up. I am willing to help you campaign with this message. It’s only six months to elections and you people are sleeping and not doing anything about Kennedy Agyapong’s comments’’.
‘’You guys are only interested in sitting in your air-conditioned offices and sabotaging yourselves. You cannot even talk about your own achievements’’.
‘’By God’s their own man(Kennedy Agyapong) has come out to say that NPP is not a party worth dying for and you people cannot take advantage of it’’.
‘’Have you people been ‘juju’ by the NPP just as they did to Nana Konadu Agyeman and her FONKAR? Has the power confused you?’’
‘’President Kufuor was not able to establish the School feeding programe and the Health Insurance in his first term. Look at the number of developmental projects been initiated by president Mills in his first term and you cannot even talk about it’’.
‘’If Kufuor had delivered in his first term like president Mills has done, Ghana would have been more developed than it is now’’.‘’Stop disgracing president Mills and preach the Better Ghana Agenda to Ghanaians’’.
