Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, has condemned the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for defending his infamous all-die-be-die comments.
Nana Akufo-Addo has been criticized by many who have suggested that the comments promote electoral violence. At a recent interaction with some residents of Wa, Nana Akufo-Addo said the mantra is only a call for self defence and not to wage war.
But speaking to XYZ News, Mr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr said no one needs to die to be able to support the growth of the country. I think no one has to die for the country. I mean if you die what is your value. We dont need ghosts to develop our country. We dont need corpses to develop our country.
He said the country needs living human beings who have the interest of the country at heart, adding people should live for our country rather than die.
He said Ghanaians should be encouraged to do great things in business to help develop the country, stressing I have no believe in any politician who in any way and under any circumstance suggest that people should die. People should simply not die.
