The German Government has handed over copies of bilateral agreements signed between Ghana and Germany to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
This was part of efforts to recover documents lost in the fire that gutted the Ministry�s nine-storey building in Accra in October 2009.
The fire, which resulted in the Ministry relocating to the Flagstaff House currently, destroyed several historical documents, including those dating back to Ghana's independence from Britain in 1957 and the Ministry�s original copies of the agreements.
