The Peoples National Convention (PNC) has called for an immediate Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting to deliberate on the challenges faced with the exhibition of the voters register.
The party said the challenges recorded at the various polling stations must be addressed in order to guarantee Ghanaians participate in the exercise.
The General Secretary of the party, Bernard Monah, told Citi News the proposed IPAC meeting is very crucial as the nation strives to ensure a problem-free electoral process.
According to Mr. Monah, the PNC does not want a situation where the Electoral Commission extends resources to achieve minimum effects, hence calls by the PNC for a review and re-assessment of the current voter exhibition to ensure a full utilization of the resources deplored.
Mr. Monah said, it is important to rescue the situation now than to wait when the whole exercise is done.
He, however, questioned the EC on why the political parties do not have copies of the register, but some individuals do.
