The Forum for Governance and Justice says the NPP will be doing Ghana and the rule of law a good service by going to the court instead of many media encounters.
The forum believes the posture by the NPP rather creates anxiety among supporters.
The convener Dr Clement Apaak told Radio Ghana that Ghanaians need to wait and hear what the leadership of the NPP will do and stop speculations.
The NPP will hold a news conference today and make public details of its intended legal action regarding the 2012 Presidential elections.
The news conference will be addressed by the 2012 Presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo, his running mate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and National Chairman Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey.
