A member of the communication team of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Asante Yeboah has described Dr. Wereko-Brobbey as a mouse that goes around creating unnecessary confusion in the NPP in crucial moments when the party is battling a serious case in court.
“Dr. Wereko-Brobbey has turned himself into a house mouse in the NPP. Whiles we (NPP) are progressing, he is behind destroying things. He is abolishing what the party has secured in the ongoing court case. Again, he is pouring hot water under a germinating plant to kill it. That is the kind of person he is,” he said.
According to him, Dr. Wereko-Brobbey’s recent criticisms would have caused the party’s downfall if an election was to be held since majority of the electorate excise their franchised based on hearsays.
He stressed that it is unfortunate that Dr. Wereko-Brobbey who claims to be a founding member of the NPP could not have any discussions with the party leadership to solve issues if there were any before coming out with his press release last Thursday.
“Even if the NPP have 1000 stunning supporters and the rest vote based on hearsays and based on that 500 adapt the posture of Dr. Wereko-Brobbey and criticisms without discussing issues with party leaders and abides by the party’s rules and regulations then we cannot sustain this party,” he stated.
Speaking on Adom FM, Richard Asante Yeboah debunked allegations made by Dr. Wereko- Brobbey that most polling station agents the NPP recruited were trained a night before the 2012 general elections and that was part of the party’s downfall in 2012 elections.
He believes Tarzan cannot base his fact on just one person as he claimed to have gotten the information from.
“What if the person he claimed to have asked is lying to him? If the person is just fabricating stories then Dr. Wereko-Brobbey has tarnished the image of the NPP party to the whole world. Would it be right to use one particular person’s assertion to generalize? he asked.
Adding, “Dr. Wereko-Brobbey records in the party is to always drag the NPP to the mud when the party is progressing or wants to be an obstacle to the NPP party”.
