A member of the communication team for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hopeson Adoryeh has threatened a communication member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Gabby Asumeng and the entire party for saying that if Nana Addo wins the court case based on the face of the pink sheet, there will be civil war.

According to Hopeson Adoryeh worse things will happen to the NDC if the Supreme Court shows injustice to the NPP in the ongoing petition of the 2012 election Presidential results; threatening that Gabby Asumeng and the NDC cronies will be beheaded in the country.

Speaking on Okay FM, he said that the petitioners are not in court for frivolous conduct and so nobody should make a joke with the court case; refering to the 1992 constitution that the petitioners have every right to go to court to seek redress on suspicion that the election was compromised.

He was hopeful that the petitioners are going to win the case with the sizable evidence which are in the custody of the petitioners; adding that with Dr. Afari Gyans admission that there were irregularities in the 2012 election of which should not have happened, there is no way the petitioners will not win the case.

When queried about his prejudicial statement, he said that President Mahama should be first charged with contempt since he has been telling Ghanaians on any platform that he was ordained by God and that he was going to be confirmed by the Supreme Court ruling.

He again said that the Supreme Court should not waste time on the publication of Daily Guide but rather deal with the President for making prejudicial statement in the media; adding that the selective justice must end.

He fumed that Ghanaians are not less of a man in this country and so nobody should be allowed to threaten with civil war if Nana Addo becomes President; stressing that the NDC will not be spared with any nonsense they spew in public.

He said he was with the thought that the Supreme Court will bring the NDC communicator, Gabby Asumeng to order but the judges presiding over the 2012 election petition never did; reiterating with emphasis that the Supreme Court did nothing when Bernard Mornah of the PNC said in Tamale that the SC cannot overturn the declaration of President Mahama.

He said that Ghanaians are prepared to defend the constitution of Ghana after the maximum of patient exhibited by Ghanaians in this case and with the empirical evidence which has been shown in court, injustice will never happen in this country.
