Former Youth Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Abayifaa Karbo believes Ghana’s hindrance to compete with some fast developing countries in the world is due to the corrupt administration by the Mahama led government.

According to him, over imbursement of state funds in the late Atta Mills administration trending to the Mahama led administration has not been beneficial to a developing country like Ghana.

Speaking on Adom FM, Karbo urged the government to make effort to retrieve monies paid as judgement debt to ISOFOTON and Waterville which the court has ordered after Martin Amidu’s solely effort to fight corruption.

“Corruption is drawing us (Ghanaians) back from developing. Over spending of government funds is too much in this current admiration. Paying of judgement debts is really causing the nation. They (NDC) came to meet a fleshy economy and now it is a skeleton,” he said.
