A former South African President has joined the scores of dignitaries that have been congratulating former flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo after he conceded defeat following the Supreme Court ruling on the election petition case.
Mr. F.W. De Klerk who is in the country to attend a lecture, called on Nana Akufo-Addo at his Nima residence and pat him on the back for willingly accepting the final ruling of the Supreme Court.
He said Nana�s act has spread worldwide, making him very �admirable beyond Africa�.
Recollecting a similar incident in South Africa, F.W. De Klerk said Nana�s demeanor and character is a �sign of true leadership� and wished him well in other prospects.
Nana Akufo-Addo on his part thanked him for his congratulatory words and wished him well in his lecture.
