Without God by our side, there is completely nothing man can do. When the Israelites sinned against God, the bible teaches us that the repercussion was that they suffered.
And with the continuous hardships that have crippled our economy, Charles Owusu believes it is a signal God has abandoned President Mahama and his entire team of ministers.
The PPP stalwart stated in an interview with Peacefmonline.com that what rejuvenates his conviction that the good Lord isn’t with the current government is the fact that members of the National Democratic Congress, have started fighting among themselves.
Touching on the recent rift between Mr. Alban Bagbin, the president and his handlers, Mr. Owusu underscored that the NDC was currently going through a self destruction phase.
“This is what happens when you hand over power to people without God. The center isn’t holding and everybody in the party speaks in the way they want to”, he said.
He again stated that President Mahama wasn’t committed to fight corruption and was only interested in contesting an election rather than solving the challenges confronting the nation. “He has done nothing in 2013 but when you listen to him, he talks about contesting the 2016 elections”, he added.
Mr. Owusu ended by urging Ghanaians to vote the PPP into power in 2016.
