Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has described an allegation made by former President Jerry John Rawlings as ‘diversionary tactics’.

Ex-President Rawlings’ allegation that former President John Agyekum Kufuor spearheaded corruption in his administration has come under lots of criticisms as many are of the view that he (Rawlings) did worse when he was in power.

Speaking on Friday’s edition of ‘Kokrokoo’ with host Kwami Sefa-Kayi, John Boadu said: “as for me I see it as a diversionary tactics. He knows if he attacks Kufuor, all members of the NPP will stop talking about Fortiz-Merchant Bank saga… he just wants us to hear his voice…it's not surprising.”
