President John Dramani Mahama will arrive in the Northern Regional capital, Tamale, later Thursday for a two-day working visit to the region.
He will inaugurate a number of completed infrastructure projects, including a water treatment plant in Bunkpurugu, regional offices for the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) and National Communications Authority (NCA) in Tamale, and the first phase of the ongoing rehabilitation and expansion of the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
President Mahama is expected to meet and interact with some chiefs, senior officials, and a number of other leaders as well as ordinary people.
He will address a mini-durbar of the chiefs of people in Nalerigu on Friday before returning to Accra in the evening.
