Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Mrs. Ursula Owusu Ekuful has asked government to focus on investing in productive sector of the economy instead of concentrating on winning the next election.
She said if that happens, the livelihood of every citizen as well as the economy which is already in a bad shape will improve.
We voted for them to bring change and so they should change the livelihood of Ghanaians instead of focusing to win the next election she said.
Contributing to a panel discussions on Peace FMs Kokrokoo, Mrs Ekuful also advised government to be honest and acknowledge that things are not running smoothly. If we are able to diagnose the right sickness, we can get the correct remedy for it
To ensure a better economy in 2014, she said government should invest in productive area of the economy so that everybody will benefit. Lets be honest with ourselves in diagnosing the real ills of the economy and that will ensure a better economy otherwise 2014 will be no different from 2013.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Ekuful has advised Ghanaians to put politics aside and think of ways to develop the country.
According to her, we should think first of the country because we are Ghanaians firstlets work together towards improving our lotin 2014 we should make a resolution to be truthful to each other.
