The Local Government Minister, Julius Debrah, has disclosed that more District Chief Executives (DCEs) will be given the red card soon.
This follows the dismissal of four DCEs on Monday.
Reginald Emmanuel Aboagye, Kwaebibrem District Assembly; Adam Banabelsera Yussif, West Mamprusi District Assembly; Joseph Adansi Bondah, Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai and Martin Luther Obeng, Agona East District Assembly were the affected DCEs.
Mr Julius Debrah told Kwami Sefa Kayi on PEACE FM, Tuesday, that the DCEs were not sacked out of any malice or act of corruption, adding, as a good coach if a player is not playing as expected, you change him and get someone who can do better
Their performance was below standard. There are no corrupt findings against any DCE. The President has a responsibility to fulfill the promise and the mandate given to him and so anybody who is not helping him achieve his purpose; he has all the right to sack, he noted.
