Not too long ago, two leading members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), openly defied party regulations and courted controversy when they openly displayed their thumb-printed ballot during the party's Special Delegates Congress.
They were Anthony Karbo and Alhaji Iddrisu, the Northern Regional Second Vice Chairman of the party. These are mistakes the party would want to avoid this coming Saturday as they stage a congress to elect a flagbearer.
It is on this note that the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West Constituency, Hon. Ursula Owusu Ekufful has taken the pain to explain that open display of thumb-printed votes, would be considered a spoilt ballot should any voter attempt doing so.
