National Democratic Congress [NDC] Member of Parliament for Juaboso in the Sefwi area, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has categorically stated that, the NDC is not worried about the third coming of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Many believe the NPP's choice to present Nana Addo again as president after voting for him tremendously in the just ended NPP National Delegates Congress is a sign to mount pressure on the Mahama-led government.
But Hon. Mintah Akandoh is of a view that, the NPP will again taste opposition in 2016 after describing Nana Addo as a competent loser.
He however urged the NPP to restrain from comparing Nana Addo to late John Evans Atta Mills who won the presidency after attempting it three times.
“The NDC is not complacency about Nana Addo. They [NPP] should not compare Nana Addo to Mills. Prof. Mills worked tirelessly and has been a vice-president before which Nana Addo hasn’t,” he said.
The NDC MP also accused Nana Addo as corrupt – “he was reported sharing monies to delegates during their election last Saturday via his allies. This person can never be president,”
He also predicted that, “Nana Addo will go to court again in 2016”.
