The National Executive Committee of the United Front Party (UFP) has commended the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for a successfully organized National Delegates Congress on the 18th October 2014.
In a congratulatory message to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the elected flagbearer of the NPP and the losers for their involvement in the electioneering process, UFP has urged him [Nana Addo] to reach out to the losers in order to ensure unity within the ranks and file of the NPP.
The 2012 Presidential Candidate of UFP who doubles as the Chief Founding Father of the party has insisted genuine unity in the party would be very paramount for the NPP during the 2016 general elections.
In a statement UFP has saluted the NPP fraternity for setting the pace in the democratic dispensation in the country as it has organized a successful internal election to choose its Flagbearer for the 2016 elections.
“On behalf of Akwasi Addai Odike(Chief Founding Father & 2012 Presidential Candidate of UFP), we respectfully salute the elephant family for setting the pace as the beacon of Quality-Internal-Party-Democracy in Ghana and equally wishes them well in the 2016 general elections,” he said.

We wish to also congratulate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the elected flagbearer of the NPP and the losers for their involvement in the electioneering process. We would like to urge Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to reach out to the losers in order to ensure unity within the ranks and file of the NPP, this would be very important for the NPP during the 2016 general elections.
If truly NPP desire to win power in the 2016 general elections then it is very necessary for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to emulate the leadership style of former President John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor for his excellent role of bridging the gap between the NPP and minority Political Parties in Ghana as well as ensuring excellent relationship with them which resulted in NPP victory in 2000 and 2004 general elections.
