Nana Akufo Addo stands a chance to become Ghanas' future president if electorates say so- and in the event he achieves this feat, would he have the big balls to remove the illegalities perpetuated by this current government?
A member of the Progressive Peoples Party posed this question to Peacefmonline.com and quickly answered it with the speed of light.
Mr. Divine Nkrumah, who is the National Youth Organizer for the party doubts Nana Akufo Addo and the NPPs ability to deal with the mountainous rot being built the NDC under President Mahama.
The PPP scribe revealed although he has no qualms over the minoritys decision to walk out on parliament when the 17.5% petroleum tax was passed, he foresees them passing practicing the same illegalities should the tables turn and favour them as majority.
Some NPP members are loudly condemning this current NDC government and labeling them insensitive. But we all remember what happened during the Kumi Preko demonstration when Nana Akufo Addo led demonstrators to dissent over VAT increment; but when they were given the mandate to rule us under former President Kufour, they failed to do anything about it. They dont have the clout to talk about such things, he warned.
The National Democratic Congress received their share of the condemnation. According to Mr. Divine Nkrumah, under them, the country has retrogressed.
He explained that when NDC was in opposition, they pretended they could have done something profitable when given the mandate- but upon receiving it, they have stolen and sucked the country dry. A practice he claims they are best at..
Asked if he thinks things would get better under the two political parties he was scrutinizing, Mr. Nkrumah responded that certainly not! They are all the same and would remain like that.
He ended with an appeal to electorates to make the best choice by voting or the PPP in 2016.
