Politics is all about numbers and as the National Democratic Congress seeks to retain power in 2016, the founder of the party, former President Jerry Rawlings, has pleaded with the party to bury the hatchet and do all they can to bring back former first lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings.
The former first lady broke away from the party after she failed in her bid to become flag bearer of the NDC when she contested against the then sitting President, John Evans Atta Mills in 2012.
She later formed the National Democractic Party (NDP) which is unfortunately in a defunct state.
Addressing party delegates at the National Congress currently on-going in Kumasi, ex- President Rawlings offered this piece of advice to party faithfuls; we must invite Nana Konadu to come back home...i know she is seeing us and hearing what we are talking about.
