National Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has disclosed that the Upper East Regional Chairman of the party who was killed after an acid attack will be buried on Saturday.
According to him, family members of Alhaji Mahama Adam would have buried him according to Muslim funeral tradition however, they need to wait for the flagbearer of the party, Nana Akufo Addo who will return to the country today.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, cut short his tour of Europe following the acid attack that led to the death of Alhaji Adams Mahama.
John Boadu who was speaking in an interview on PEACE FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', further indicated that the leadership of the party including Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will travel to the Upper East Region to join the family members of the late Regional Chairman to prepare for the burial.
He also called for calm and urged that members of the NPP should stop the blame game and allow the police to do their work.
