NPP Vice-Presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has donated some building materials to the Suhum Islamic Girls Senior High School.
According to him, that is to help the school’s building project which is currently is a deplorable state.
Accompanied by his wife Samira Bawumia and some NPP members, the former Bank of Ghana deputy governor donated bags of cement and iron rods to commence the school building.
Dr. Bawumia also met with the Suhum Zongo community as well as Suhum market women and residents to discuss elections 2016 and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s vision for the country.
“I was in Suhum to interact with residents. Accompanied by Samira, my wife and Frederick Opare-Ansah, the MP for the area, I went to the Suhum market and also met the Suhum Zongo Community.
“…I took the opportunity to also present some building materials to the Suhum Islamic Girls Senior High School to support the school, which currently has a population of approximately 1,200 students, to put up classroom blocks,” he posted on Facebook.
