Ghana’s social economic woes is far from over if the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) is retained in power.
This according to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwi, Simon Osei Mensah is because “Ghana is plagued with JDM virus”. JDM virus, he explained on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme has led to the collapse of the economy which hitherto was very vibrant
. “Ghana’s economy under the erstwhile Kufuor government without oil grew by 8.4 percent but under the NDC with oil it grew by 3.5%, this shows the economy is collapsing very fast,” he fumed. The Bosomtwi MP could not fathom why government always blame its failures on the NPP when in fact it does not have any clue on how to govern effectively. “Why are you blaming the NPP for everything? If you think NPP has mismanaged the economy, then let us come and correct them...,” he stressed.
Hon. Osei Mensah however assured Ghanaians of an end to their woes if they vote massively for the NPP because “the only anti-virus for Mahama is to drop him in 2016".
