Owuraku Amofa, a former deputy minister of tourism during Ex - President J.J. Rawlings, resurfaces at Kibi to contest as a parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the national democratic congress for the Abuakwa south constituency.
A former MP for the area from 1992 - 96, he lost his bid go to to parliament again when he was defeated by the current flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akufo -Adoo.
During the 2008 presidential elections, Mr. Amofa threw his weight behind Nana Akufo -Addo. When Akufo -Addo lost, Mr. Amofa went into political hiatus with a sojourn to the USA ...
