Burkina Faso's President, Roch Marc Kabore has been sworn-in on Tuesday, making the former prime minister the country's new leader in decades following his election in November.
The ceremony which was held at the country’s largest stadium in the capital marks a pivotal moment in a democratic transition in the West African country after veteran leader Blaise Compaore was overthrown in a popular uprising in October 2014.
President John Mahama including Former President Jerry John Rawlings and some African Heads of State graced the occasion in Burkina Faso.
Others includes NDC’s Communication directed, Solomon Nkansah and a delegation of the PNC led by Chairman Bernard Mornah.
