Special Advisor to the Convention People's Party (CPP) Flagbearer Ivor Greenstreet, James Kwabena Bomfeh has lambasted President John Dramani Mahama and his government over the President's "Accounting to the People" tour.

To James Kwabena Bomfeh, also called Kabila, the tour is unnecessary because he believes the President doesn't need to prove himself to Ghanaians before they know the good works of his government, if indeed his administration has performed creditably.

He noted on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' that the Presidential tour is nothing new to Ghanaians because the erstwhile Kufour administration also embarked on a similar tour but to no avail.

He therefore slammed President John Mahama for using taxpayers' money to print out books on his achievements since becoming Head of the Republic of Ghana.

The 'Green Book' by the government contains the developmental projects undertaken under the leadership of President John Mahama and it is intended to serve as a proof to the citizenry about what the government is doing to develop the economy.

“I’m wondering how it will take a government or why it should take a government to use the taxpayers’ money to print a book [a document] to tell them what experience they live . . . Do you need to do that? When you live a life and you experience (if it’s very significant), you don’t need a reminder especially at a cost to you. But this is what we experience from the NDC and the NPP.”

Kabila called on the Ghanaian electorates to vote out both the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) because "they're just two different sides of the same coin."

He appealed to the electorates to vote for his party flagbearer Ivor Greenstreet who he believes is honest and transparent with the people of Ghana.
