The people of Diaso have conferred on President John Mahama ‘Nkosuoo Hene’ to wit ‘Development Chief’ of Diaso in appreciation to the transformation the people of Diaso have witnessed under his leadership.
This was made known when the Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur visited the area and was welcomed by a massive crowd.
The Vice President who is on a four day campaign tour to the Central Region stormed the Upper Denkyira West Constituency to continue with trumpeting on the NDC’s ‘Changing lives and Transforming Ghana’ agenda message.
In an address to the gathering, the Vice President said continuity is key for the development of Ghana and this sums up the reason President Mahama must be given another opportunity to continue with the massive development that Ghanaians are witnessing in the education, road and other sectors.
He said the NDC is a party that cares for all and is not discriminatory when it comes to sharing of the national cake.
The Vice President used the occasion to introduce the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the area who also doubles as the DCE for the area, Hon Ambrose Amoah – Ashyiah.
Mr Amissah-Arthur said for development to continue there's the need to vote for the President Mahama and the NDC’s parliamentary candidate in order to bring more development to the area.
On his part the chief of the area Nana Agyei Ameyaw 11 lauded the NDC for its development projects under the President John Mahama. He said the projects that he has witnessed are unprecedented and are one that they never dreamt of.
