The New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate for Awutu Senya West, George Andah has said he does not regret questioning the whereabouts of his competitor and incumbent Member of Parliament, Hanna Tetteh’s husband.
The business mogul, who is known to be a fine gentleman shocked a section of the public when he openly dared the Foreign Affairs Minister to show Ghanaians who her husband is.
Addressing a mini rally in Bawjiase in the Central region, Mr Andah who showed his wife to the crowd, challenged the Foreign Affairs minister, who is contesting on the ticket of the governing National Democratic Congress, to show Ghanaians her husband too.
“I told you I will come with my wife and children and I came here with my wife and children, go and tell Hanna Tetteh that she should also do same, she should come and show her husband to you”.
He’s received huge public flak for his comments which some have described as ‘below the belt’, accusing him of being too personal in his polticking instead of campaigning on issues ahead of the elections.
However, speaking on Asempa FM Eko sii sen show on Friday, Mr George Andah shrugged the accusation saying he was compelled to respond to the negative comments about him being spewed by the NDC campaign team in the area to rundown his personality, hence he doesn’t feel sorry for his utterances.
“Why should I sit down and allow people to think that what you are saying about me is true. Why should I apologize for my comment, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with what I said. I was responding in a certain context…because they are doing certain things. When they claim I’m irresponsible, I’m telling them that I have a wife and I presented her before the constituents, it is simply that.”

Hannah also insults him. If she had a hubby her son may hv stopped acting poor quality porrrn films with her support. George has my support. by the way, hv u guys noticed that Hannah is so obese that she resembles a kenyan water buffalo after a heavy feast??

Please Tracy let accept what is wrong as wrong if Hannah Tetteh as a person made this comments than we can consider is right, but Andah never says anywhere that Hannah made comments again him
Tracy, I cannot agree with you more. you are spot on. Neenyi go go go go.
low blow massa. ask your occupy Ghana senior members. you hit below the belt. Be a gentleman and apologise. Does responsibility means being married. Guys please
Initially I was unhappy with Neenyi Andan. But after his explanation, hey: Sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander! If someone is told consistently, "Prove that you are a responsible man" in our culture, it is an indictment on his character! Now if the same man brings his family out as proof of his RESPONSIBILITY and consequently demands that his opponent who directly benefited from the fallout of aspersions cast at him to produce her spouse, how do we then say that he is a disappointment? Especially when his opponents are experts in making claims that CANNOT be substantiated?
