Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwamena Duncan has censured President John Dramani Mahama severely for failing to condemn the attacks on Nana Addo's residence.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Kwamena Duncan told host Kwami Sefa Kayi the President adopted a wrong approach in addressing the incident.

According to him, he blamed the President stressing that his comments following the incident didn't show a good mark of leadership.

He was alarmed that the President would condone the violent attacks on Nana Addo's house while the international community condemns the actions of his party supporters.

“Not just the ambassadors and the commissioners of these two countries that have come out to condemn it but the State Department. The United States Department has also added its voice that, under President Mahama-NDC, this is unacceptable (unacceptable); a very condemnable act!”

“What he has succeeded in doing is that, see, he has shown the NDC that I am here. For as long as I remain the President, you can have your way all the time. And classically, he showed it. He showed it in the Montie 3 and luckily for us his position is 3. The Montie 3 corresponding with his position 3 means he is lawless,” he said.

To Kwamena Duncan, "the first thing you (President Mahama) say is that look, I do not condone such violent attacks. I do not and it is reprehensible. It is unacceptable. You indeed condemn them in the strongest possible words you can find. But he didn’t do that. He rather shifted the blame on the Police.”
