Communications Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah has suggested the achievements of the erstwhile Kufuor government cannot match up to those of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration of the last eight years.
Dr Boamah, who was addressing journalists in a press conference on Monday, November 28, queried: “Is it not a matter of record that these politicians utilised the mandate given them between 2001 and 2008 to do a fraction of what we have done?”
He was of the view that “many of the young people they are courting would have found employment long before the NDC came into office, particularly as they promised to find them jobs and went ahead to register over 1 million but failed woefully to give them jobs as they had promised”.
According to him, “what makes their ranting more pathetic is that they do not offer credible alternatives” to the numerous issues they constantly criticise.
He said: “Mr Mahama will not sacrifice long-term gains of the nation for short-term political benefits.”
For him, the Mahama government will not relent on its efforts to provide job opportunities.
He cited the Atuabo Free Port Project, Integrated Aluminium Industry, the Accra Digital Centre, and the agribusiness initiatives.
He said they have supported the private sector significantly to expand and create more jobs.

These are the enemies the Bible talk's about in Luke 19:27 they do evil things and come back to beg, no amount of words can stop God from allowing the change to come for voice of the people is the voice God, let our prayer says what the Bible say's in Luke 19:27 Spiritually bring these enemies before God and slay them for their wicked plans. Mr Prez your mistakes sound like a deliberate once to punish the electorates by increase and invade more taxes so now you have clearly expose how you are that indeed you can not take any decision you are ruing the nation just like the survive of the fitters who can survive your hardship can live, Mr Prez the voices of the people is the voices of God, if I understood the Constitution clearly it didn't say you only have four years that means if you do not win the 2016 election you another chance to contest other elections so stop forcing for the seat which is not yours. Ghana need peaces so be it. God bless Ghana A Change is coming!!!

What achievements koraa are u people worrying us with, is it not JM's turn we have oil and yet high tax rates on everything and yet price of goods keep increasing, compare the price of cement by then and today, If JM had come in Kuffuors era he would have sold us into slave trade again..... Since NPP rants is pathetic ur defeat will be more pathetic next week
and steeeallling from the tax payer. phuulish talk. How can you compare an oil economy to a hipc economy. If Mahama was to run the economy that president Kuffour net like Ghana will be doomed by now.
A doctor of apology indeed.Look at him who had wasted Ghanaians taxpayers money to be trained as a medical doctor yet decided against practicing.
