Infrastructural developments don’t save governments during elections.
Kufuor found oil and built overpasses including cutting through rocks at Aburi Mountains to create dual carriages and many many development projects; that did not translate to votes in 2008.
Nkrumah regretted infrastructural developments and said if he knew Ghanaians needed milk he would have constructed pipes for milk to flow through them and allowed essential commodities everywhere.
Ghanaians are suffering and undergoing hardships, high unemployment figures including graduates, high cost of living, high rate of taxes, dumsor, business collapsing or relocating to La Cote d’Ivoire, high bank lending interest rates, serious borrowing by Gov’t and payment of high interest rates, inflation not stable, corruption, judgment debts still outstanding, high electricity taxes, high cost of food prices etc.
To me, rushing to inaugurate or Commission uncompleted projects will not save the NDC. Ghanaians want to feel free to enjoy life not become tourists at project sites that don’t put food on their tables or give them jobs or from which all Ghanaians do not derive benefits.
CHANGE IS COMING!!!

judgment debts still outstanding...So a lawyer paaaa saying dis aaaabaaa so are your suggesting the government should use it's power to forcefully collect the money even when the judge isn't done with it's duties like how Kuffour wrongfully imprisoned Tsatsu Tsikata?U paaaa,is dat how you are?No wonder...NEVER CONFUSE EDUCATION WITH INTELLIGENCE..
Ayikoi well said. Anybody else can administer these projects even better. Change is coming!
My brother Mr. lawyer, you have summarized it all. Almost all the projects are loan acquired with high interest rates, cost inflated, and rushed to commission, in order to win votes, though not fully completed. Come to Kasoa and find out for yourself about the interchange. Interview the inhabitants to hear their comments. Most of the people are saying MAHAMA THINKS WE GHANAIANS ARE ***barred word*** TO BE DECEIVED. From photographs, they look completed; but on the ground, they are still under construction. Pay a visit to the commissioned projects and see if they 100% completed.
what are our taxes, loans contracted and the oil money meant for? It meant for infrastructure which any senior public officer can do. its not for paying dubious judgement debts and bribing political opponents or buying properties in Dubai.Social intervention is all ways the hallmark of a good government not create loot and share government!!!
This analysis of Ayikoo Otoo is grossly shallow and pathetic. Since he admitted the JM government success in infrastructure, then he should have been wise enough to realize that every infrastructure comes with employment opportunities....... A hospital for instance will hire nurses, doctors, pharmacists, administrators, lab techs, drivers, laborers etc...... so what exactly is old faggot talking about?
Your point is wrong. Was kufour still runing for presidency after 2008? Nana was the one runing on the den ticket of npp. This one the oppositions are facing the incumbent government who is seeking for his second term. So your argument is baseless. Can you tell me the last opposition won election agains a government seeking for his second term in Ghana since 1992?
This man has just exposed his ignorance. Knowledge and wisdom is not all about age and certificate. I shy give ayikoi otoo self
Hypocrites. I am surprised to read this from Ayikoi Otoo. NPP will never see anything good in what NDC is doing. That is why God is going to punish them. Finding oils is not the same as infrastructure. Again for K$, his time was up and did not have the opportunity to contest again. For Mahama, he is still eligible to contest and that is what NPP fears most. ***barred word*** people.
if I may ask was kuffour running 3rd term in 2008. he Campaign on his achievements in 2004 where monkeys and snakes were part of his achievements and he won why won't mahama win on his massive achievements. ayikoe atoo abe ehoo.
At your age you see infrastructure as nothing; because you have the resources to travel outside for your ill health so you you think schools, hospitals, roads are not what we need eh. You go ahead and keep deceiving yourself. I will prefer my Dad builds property for me than feed me 3square meal.
