Popular Broadcaster Kwame Sefa Kayi has expressed frustration that he could not cast his ballot because his name has not been found on a list of special voters list.
This is the second time he has encountered this problem as several hundreds have been turned away from voting centers with the same problem.
The special voters are early voters who by their professional categories cannot vote on the general election day December 7. They are journalists, health professionals and security officers whose services are deemed essential on voting day hence the early opportunity.
The special voting was held last Thursday December 1 for 127,000 professionals. But after the process was gutted with problems of missing names, the EC was compelled to extend the exercise to Sunday.
At least 34,000 voters are expected to take advantage of this second window. But the problem of missing names still persists.
When Sefa Kayi, a multiple award-winning host of Accra-based Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' visited his designated voting center at Tema Community 2 polling station in the Tema West constituency he was left disappointed.
'My name has vanished' he told Francis Abaan on Joy News Sunday.
"It's not just me...there are quite a number of us out here and maybe I will go and try again on Wednesday," the disappointed Broadcaster indicated.
Dozens of security officers, media men and even the electoral commission's own officials are unable to find their names on the special voter's list despite the second day of voting.
Same problems were recorded at Amasaman, Cantonment, La Dadekotopon in Greater Accra region, Tamale Central in the Northern region as second day of special voting begins.
Some finger-pointing between the EC and security heads has already began. If a registered special voter is unable to vote, it could be the names were not sent by security officers to the EC or the sent names were not added to the special voters list or the added names are scartered in a register somewhere.
It means a voter may have to comb some polling centers to find the right voting center.

The Sullay is very diabolic and calculated in his hell deeds. You see , Kwami being very popular as he is, in Ghana as one of our best Journalist has been used by Sullay to demonstrate to the good People of Ghana that the confusions in the polling stations during the Special voting are not delibrate, if that could even happen to Kwami, who is a well known astute journalist and loved by Ghanaians, then, that could never be assumed as delibrate. The point am trying to make here is that, if a ***barred word*** wants to steal, he wouldn't go and do it in Police Station. Asem se be. I bet ,there is a diabolic motive here-a well crafted one by Sullay.
It serves journalists right. Sadly they are on the media constantly talking about irrelevant things. Example Kwasi Pratt and co. These days eye witness are far better than journalist across the country. The only different is you construct sentences and interview passerby.Improve your work ethics and standards. Unprofessionalism on 99.8 % journalists to easily tell which political party they support all because of the coins they'll be offer. Ma ton mote for sika aba!
The hell in EC is Amidu Sullay who is causing all those confusions with the help of some Police officals who are NDC agents. Mrs C. Osei is, indeed, not the Problem. Her Problem is her not being strong enough to stand up to say am the boss here and the correct thing should be done. She has compromised her intergrity for her Position as EC-Boss. The stand and demeanor of the EC as per her numerous bad cases in court is a clear indication that, the attitude of the EC, so far, was a core prerequisite to her assuming that Position. If you like you call it her work description. But the Sullay is responsible for the hell, and Mrs C. Osei looks over it.
Afari Djan, will be laughing this morning.
We are tired with you NDC, you'v been deceiving us for long, we Votarians, we will vote you out December 7
It means he registered with NHIS card and his name has been deleted. Case die

Kwame Sefa Kayi, what were you expecting after constructively criticizing the EC over the accreditation of journalists and again interviewing Nana Akufo Addo on your station. The people are intolerant.
