Voter turnout in the presidential and parliamentary elections in the Nkawkaw Constituency has been impressive.
People started queuing up at the polling centres including Nkawkaw Soldier-line ‘A’ and ‘B’, Fire Service, Post Office ‘A1’, ‘A2’ and ‘A#’, Market Square, Topway, Salvation Army Church, Unity Garden and Akuamoah Acheampong Primary School, as early as 0300 hours.
So far everything had gone very well – voting had been smooth and peaceful with all election materials in place and in adequate supply.
The Kwahu West Municipal Electoral Officer, Mr. Eugine Boateng, confirmed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that there had not been any major challenges at the 136 centres.
