President John Dramani Mahama has said history will judge his contributions while serving in the highest office. “It has been without a doubt, one of the most tremendous privileges of my life to serve this great nation as President and to work on behalf of all Ghanaians.
I will leave it to history to be the judge of my time and contributions while in that highest office,” president Mahama said. He made the comment in his concession speech delivered at his residence. The Electoral Commission (EC) on Friday declared the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo, the winner of the 2016 elections.
The NPP Flagbearer secured the presidency after a third time, beating the incumbent, President John Mahama with 53.85 percent of valid votes cast. Nana Akufo-Addo rode on the back of the valid votes cast to become Ghana’s fifth president under the fourth Republic. President Mahama, who ran on the ticket of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), secured 44.40 of valid votes cast in his concession speech further congratulated President elect, Nana Akufo Addo and assured Ghanaians of his commitment to the sustenance of Ghana’s democracy. “I wish to congratulate the President Elect. I will like to assure the people of Ghana of my commitment to the sustenance of our country’s democracy and we will work to ensure a smooth transition of our incoming administration.
I remain committed to the unity and stability of our great nation.” President Mahama indicated that though he wished he had another opportunity to do more as President of Ghana, he respects the will of Ghanaians. “As President I have done my bit and made a contribution to the political social and economic development of our country. I would have cherished an opportunity to even do more but I respect the will of the Ghanaian people.” He also extended his “deepest gratitude to individuals who made the journey with him while serving as President. “I wish to thank all the people who worked on my campaign for their dedication and their tireless efforts,” he added.

YOU ARE RIGHT MY DEAR, WE LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH.
For sure, i admire and respect your sense of humor and humility. you did very well only that you should have been a little firm to prevent the small boys and girls ministerial positions cos most of them were incompetent. im sorry sir, all the greedy guys surrounding you disappointed you.Old experience men would have been better. i feel so sad when i see your posture towards your defeat. whilse you are deeply worried, most of your guys are not cos they have wealth to go back to enjoy. Sorry President Mahama,Ayikoo, you have done your past .Please forget politics and go and rest with your family i think its better, looking at how gentle you are.

FOCK UFF !!!
God has taken Ghana 🇬🇭 ones again through a successful change of government through the power of the thumb but not the barrel of the gun. Every well-meaning Ghanaian and those residence within our borders should justifiably welcome this as a good 😊 news. We have experienced this phenomenon since 1992, after every eight years. That is why those feeling disappointed should have hope that possibly their choice government could one ☝️ day come back to power, hence the need to overcome this loss and support the incoming government with prayers 🙏 and cooperation. For those of us who are visibly rejoicing and justifiably so should not forget that we have simply voted for humans but not angels 👼 so that we should be modest in our celebration 🎉, bearing in mind that Ghana 🇬🇭 has been this road before. It is my prayer that, the God of all the earth 🌏 will guide the outgoing President to continue to give his best and commission even more infrastructure developments in the coming days with joy and glee. I want to see him mingle with Ghanaians and laugh 😂 off the tension of the last few months. I pray for the President-Elect, that he will pause now and allow this victory and the expectations of Ghanaians and its implications to settle well in his heart before he starts to make very major decisions. I pray that Ghana 🇬🇭 shall become the beacon of Africa and the world 🌎. I pray for economic Prosperity for all Ghanaians. I pray for a Ghana that supports whoever is in power devoid of party colours. I pray for a Ghana 🇬🇭 where the word of God reigns and thrives. May God continue to bless our home land Ghana and make us great and strong 💪. Above all, Jesus is still on the throne. He hasn't moved since 1992, he has remained on his throne since Kwame Nkrumah's era. Put your trust in Him. Still👍 Saving Jesus Campaigns!
