Kwesi Pratt, Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, has implored President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to keep all his promises to Ghanaians.
According to Mr. Pratt, President Akufo-Addo has no excuse but to ensure that he completely delivers on his promises.
Speaking on Radio Gold's 'Alhaji and Alhaji', he alluded to some of Nana Addo's campaign promises, calling on the President to surely create a dam in every village, establish a factory in very district, disburse 1 million cedis to all the 275 constituencies among others.
“I’m exceedingly happy that he will keep all the promises he made in the campaign and that should be gratifying. That should make every Ghanaian very [very] happy. Because if the President keeps his word and there’s no reason why the President should not keep his word, corporate taxes will be reduced from 25% to 20%. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!!
“If the President keeps his word and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t keep his word, 17.5% VAT on Local Air Travel tickets will be abolished. Who would not want this? If the President keeps his word, VAT on Real Estate sales will be abolished. If the President keeps his word, import duty on machinery and raw materials for manufacturing in Ghana will abolished. If the President keeps his word and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t keep his word, Senior Secondary Schools will be free,” he said.
Kwesi Pratt wished the current administration good luck in improving the economy.
“I am so [so] happy and I see a very [very] prosperous Ghana under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo if he keeps all his promises,” he added.

I wonder if Kwesi Pratt's wife and children follow his deeds. Don't they advise him to stop disgracing them? Does he have siblings? Are his family members not ashamed of him? I don't know why Pratt habours deep hatred for Nana Addo. Pratt should know that he who harbours hatred in his heart begins a process of self destruction.
Sacarcism ! Kwesi, this will land u no where. its so shameful on your part!
Not even the so called senior minister chief discriminator Osarfo Marfo can save Ghana. Nana Ado has no clue on how to rule a country that is why he running to failed Bukhara and failed Mali leader for advice. God save us.
Ghana is stacked already under Nana. The economy will sink like Tsunami. Cedi has already started sinking and fuel price to go up soon as the GPRTU are heading on to increase lorry fairs. I pity Ghanaians.
@ Nana K. Did you hear Mahama making those promises as removing taxis and building hundreds of factories? Mahama was doing well considering the massive infrastructure he has put in place, Nana came promising Ghanaians of free free things including removing taxes they we foooooooolishly threw Mahama away. It is time for Nana to prove his worth at least by removing the taxes alone then we will see where Ghana will end. I know soon Nana will slap Bawumiah, watch out!
enam like you kwasi pratt..why didnt you demand same from your NDC? God bless Ghana and God bless Nana Addo and guide him and his people to govern this country to the promise land
Mr.Pratt its obvious to me you have no shame!!! hrrrrrr you couldnt stop NANA from becoming the president of this country and you are still talking? Anyway, very soon you will be soon ejected from that little rented office at kokomlemle for non-payment of rent.SHAME!!!!!!!
Whether Nana keeps his promises or not, you won't get any booty. You are scandalous, treacherous, bad a traitor. Your end is here, Mr. stomach Journalist!
