Audio Attachment:Listen to Allotey Jacobs on 'kokrokoo' |
Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs says he is pleased with the approval of the Gender Minister, Otiko Afisa Djaba.
Commenting on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Allotey Jacobs commended the efforts of Hon. Otiko Djaba to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, Otiko Djaba was one of the talwarts of the NPP who played a vital role in the victory of the party as Women's Organizer; so she deserves her appointment
Allotey Jacobs however expressed worry over the character of Hon. Otiko Djaba, saying she has a problem and so urged her to work on her attitude.
To him, if she transports her character to the Ministry, it may not augur well for the current administration.
“Otiko Djaba might have a problem. That is about her character . . . But as National Women Organizer, she has suffered. Parties should recognize what their leaders have done for them. So, for me, I believe she’s suffered. I mean she’s qualified. The only problem I have with her is her gladiator cut (regarding her hair style prior to last year’s elections," Allotey Jacobs said.

DID Ablakwa DO HIS NATIONAL SERVICES HIMSEIF IF HE DID, WHICH YEAR AND WHERE
This woman is CURRENT. Masaa those NDC guys must shut=up'. Mama Otiko dey B Keke. Her hair style is in a COMFORTABLE LEAD.Mama the people of KEEA are waiting for your visit. Long live Ghana and Long Live KEEA.
Otiko was even economical with her words. Ablakwa deserved that. Who does he think he is. Do u heard him saying that he would leave it Ghanaians the kind of gender minister they have. Very disrespectful.
Believe you me, those tagging Otiko as Arrogant are themselves the worst of all arrogant people. Just get close to them and you will know. We claim Prez Mahama is humble, he capitalized on his so-called humility to rip off the people. In the end, he had to be massively rejected at the polls. HOW DID HIS HUMILITY HELP THE PEOPLE? We need to grow up, such ffake humility is more dangerous than a vampire. Prior to their swearing in, did we ever know of any babies with sharp teeth? They masked their true colors only to reveal them when they went into government.
Apologize for what exactly? So when Rawlings says babies with sharp teeth, they can accept it because it's coming from a man. But as soon as a woman says it she has to apologize?! She didn't come off as militant. She simplay responded to a question in a manner she deemed fit. She didn't insult. She didn't have a frown on her face...nothing of the sort! She was full of wit! And THAT, dear observer, is what hurts you people so much!
Did he really say this? Why do some people think they must comment on every issue even when they do not have anything tangible to say?. Otiko's attitude is that of a confident woman who refused to be bullied by a bunch of vindictive men who are not used to women of her caliber. The term 'babies with sharp teeth' was coined by their own JJ. It looks like Okudjetto has an issue with that description. I wonder why(:
By all standards, Otiko is beautiful for a mother of 4. Her only problem is the confused gender activists who are endorsing her behavior thinking that a woman should not apologize. How do you sit before a committee vetting you and refer to babies with sharp teeth. It was an unnecessary joke. It meant she was not taking the interviewers serious, why should the interviewers take her serious. There is time for everything, the good book says...
Otiko's haircut is not going to do the job. Her brain is. As far as her brain is the right IQ I have no problem with her hair style, which by the way she can change at any time. Now your nose on the other hand is a whole 'nother problem....surprising they allowed you to stay at Movenpick with it!
